My name is Amanda, as one might guess from my blog title. I'm twenty-one years old and living at home with my parents. Some might assume I'm one of those kids who left, went to college, got broke, and came home again, but that's not really the case.
I just never left.
Fortunately, my parents actually like me, and I like them.
Since I was homeschooled, I was used to being home all the time. While my parents encouraged college to my siblings and I, I decided it was not the best option for me. I'm an author and a seamstress as well as a spinner (of yarn on a spinning wheel), so I had my hands full with a career already.
Currently, I'm working on my third soon-to-be published novel, spinning a fleece for someone, and doing random sewing projects. I'm also working on several fix-it projects around the house, which I hope to update here some. I also recently applied for a job and hope to hear about that soon.
My two sisters who are still in high school also live at home, and my elderly grandfather lives with us for health reasons. His needs also take up a lot of my time--I dispense his pills, help him with his exercises, drive him places, etc.
So there's a little about me. I hope you keep checking back to read this blog!
