I know, it was 18 days ago, but I'm just getting around to posting it today.
Chick Fil A Appreciation Day was August 1st. We were in Memphis for other reasons as well, so we went. (The closest Chick Fil A is 1 hour from us, so we don't just go there on a whim.)
There was a news crew there in the morning, but it really wasn't crowded that morning, just the regular crowd, but then at lunch time.
Bam
Couldn't fit any more people inside or in the drive through.
So that was nifty.
Yes, we were there for breakfast and lunch. Hush.
My two sisters, parents, and I all went to Chick Fil A for breakfast, then my parents left us there to go to an appointment they had. So we kids chilled, used the WiFi and did school work. Yep. Homework. We really did.
Well, I didn't. Because, you know I'm old but I did write and work on my book. I got about 400 words written in the few hours they were gone.
When they returned it was lunch time and super crowded. So we ate and left and continued doing other errands - including buying lumber for another wood working project!
So fun! I love Chick-Fil-A's mini breakfast biscuts! So good! I can't get them often though since we rarely get Chick-Fil-A for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, yes Amanda, you are so terribly old! =)
I went on chick-fil-a day 2 the drive through line wraped around the block INTO A MAIN ROAD dangerous right and after about an hour and a half we got to order but tbey were out of waffle fries and milkshakes that stunk but i got my chicken nuggets and sweet tea and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD ( and your not toooo old )
ReplyDeleteGoing inside was much faster than going through the drive through. :)
DeleteI'm sorry they were out of those things. But at least you got something to eat!
