Cleaning Up

Our house is back to some semblance of liveable space after the major upheaval, but no, we're nowhere near done!

Still cluttered, too

Boxes of Debris and the fridge moved from its spot (It caused this whole problem in the first place. Bad fridge.)

Trailer all loaded up with tile and other flooring mess.

And while we were working on that, this stuff showed up!

That's roofing material, if you were wondering.

Yeah, at the same time the kitchen floor stuff is going on, we're getting a new roof!

Fortunately, the insurance company is paying for that, 'cause otherwise we'd be in trouble.

They just delivered the stuff this day, the workers won't come out for another week.

Lots of pounding will be going on here!  Pounding on tiles and pounding on the roof!

  2. Amanda, are you going with your dad on the next tour? I plan to go to the event in Manitoba, and I was just wondering if you'll be there too.

  3. Bad fridge is right! We also had to change our floor due to a leaky dishwasher, so I know the feeling of tearing up the floor. But we had to replace an entire level! The dining room, living room, and kitchen all got changed, but now it looks better than it had before.

    1. Wow! That's not good at all. I'm glad you got it all sorted out. Did you have to do the work yourselves?

  4. Yes. My dad did most of it, but we had laminate so it wasn't so horrible. We did get bumps in our floor, but I don't think there was much damage under the laminate.

  5. Awesome! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your dad, Amanda.
Hmm, that might be an opportune time to buy one of your books too.
