Little Garage Door - Outside Edition

One last garage door, really. I promise.

This one I didn't count before because it's the outside of one that I already painted the inside. Make sense? Good.

The outside was in worse shape than the inside. see?

Repainted but needs some caulk to seal up that crack.
Caulk? I got caulk!

Also repainted but has a crack to seal
This panel is that side board on the big garage door that I repainted awhile back. It also needs a crack sealed

Above the little garage door. Big crack that air gushes through

Now for the after pictures!

Sealed! The side part is, anyway. Looks like I need to do the top, too, but in my defense, I'm short and can't see that high. And I'm out of caulk. It'll have to wait.

Sealed and painted

Crack's all gone!

And here, too

Doesn't that look better?
The lattice in the window is still missing a piece, but there's nothing I know of that I can do for that, other than replace the door, which would be silly, since it's in good shape besides that.  Any suggestions?  It's plastic.

Sorry for the blecky quality of the photos. I take all my photos with my tiny, beat up red point and shoot camera that's 5 years old. It's surprising that it still works, actually, considering how often I've dropped it.

This isn't one of those blogs to read if you're looking for stunning photography, that's for sure.   This is the camera I feel safe taking to 'construction zones,' because I won't care so much if it gets ruined.

Anyway.  What projects are you working on?

Oh, and don't forget about the contest to win a copy of Noble Imposter - It ends on August 22nd, go check it out. Here

  2. A nice and reliable way to do DIY, such as a door will be a secured thing. Garage doors can be clocky sometimes.
